Mundo Aquático - Parques Oceanográfico de Entretenimento Educativo S.A. was founded in 1989 in the form of a limited liability company.
Zoomarine-Algarve theme park was opened on August 3, 1991 and is located in Guia, in Albufeira, in the heart of Portugal's main tourist region.
The company specialises in creating immersive theme parks that showcase the wonders of marine life. These parks not only provide entertainment and leisure but also place a strong emphasis on environmental education, offering visitors a unique and enriching experience.
In March 1997 it was transformed into a public limited company, and in September of 2023 it had a capital of 6,500,000 euros (six million, five hundred thousand euros).
