The Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy contained herein cover all the websites belonging to the Mundo Aquático, S.A. brands, products or services, such as the site that you are currently visiting.

1. General Terms and Conditions of Use
  • These General Terms and Conditions apply to Zoomarine websites; there may be special conditions for certain services provided through Zoomarine websites.
  • Access to the websites constitutes acceptance by the user of these General Terms and Conditions of Use, which come into force from the date of first access to the website.
  • Mundo Aquático, S.A. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time or revise the Privacy Policy contained herein. It is the user's responsibility to read and review them whenever they access the sites, so that they may take note of any changes that have been made.

2. Copyright and other Intellectual Property Rights
  • Zoomarine’s websites are registered domains and the service provided though them falls under the responsibility of Mundo Aquático - Parques Oceanográficos de Entretenimento Educativo, S.A., whose head offices are situated at Av. Paulo VI, Edif. Marvi Lj.2, Marvila parish, Lisbon municipality, Post code 1900-784, with Taxpayer No. 502217235, registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Lisbon under no. 762/1989-09-12.
  • The actual contents of Mundo Aquático, S.A., including trademarks, designs, logos, text, images, materials, audio and video, belong solely and exclusively to Mundo Aquático, S.A., or to third party owners who have authorised the inclusion of said contents on the website, which are protected under the general terms of law as well as national and international Intellectual Property protection laws. The display, reproduction, distribution, amendment, transmission or use of the contents in any way for any public or commercial purpose without the express prior written consent of Mundo Aquático, S.A. is not permitted.
  • However, the user can print any extract of material contained on these websites so long as the same is not amended in any way, either for personal and non-commercial use, and includes the indication of the source and copyright, and provided that no other indication of ownership is removed.


3. Conditions of Use
  • Zoomarine’s websites may be used free of charge.
  • The user may, however, subscribe to services and products available through the websites, which may have associated costs and conditions.

4. Liability

  • Zoomarine’s websites have adequate security levels, some with the additional security of the SSL (https: //) protocol. However, to the extent permitted by law, Mundo Aquático, S.A. shall not be liable for direct or indirect damages (including, merely for illustrative purposes, damage due to loss of data or benefits) deriving from the use of the website, as well as:
  • Delays, interruptions, errors, and suspensions of communications that are based on factors beyond its control, notably, any shortcomings or faults caused by the communications network, electrical circuit or communications services provided by third parties, the computer system, modems, connection software or computer viruses.
  • Faults and damage deriving from incompatibility of the services or contents of the website with other services, content or software programmes used by the user.
  • Misuse of services and content provided by Mundo Aquático, S.A., such as chat rooms, news groups, forums, blogs, personal web pages, etc.
  • Creation of a false identity, use of 'clones' or any other means permitted for browsing web pages with a false appearance or identity for any reason, especially for the purpose of deceiving third parties with regard to the identity of the sender or origin of the message.

7. Law and Jurisdiction
  • All matters that are not regulated by these conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
  • In the event of any dispute with regard to the interpretation or application of these conditions, the Albufeira district court is appointed as the court with jurisdiction, with the express waiver of any other. Although this document has been translated into English and Spanish, the Portuguese language version of the document shall prevail.

9. PRIVACY POLICY

9.1 ) Personal Data
  • Mundo Aquático S.A. considers the security and privacy of your personal data to be important, thus we commit to respect for the prevailing legislation on the protection of personal data and not to give this information to third parties under any form or condition without the express consent of the user. We have reinforced this commitment by including the SSL certificate (https://) whenever possible on our websites.

9.1.1 ) During the use of Zoomarine websites
  • Data of a personal nature is only collected to the extent expressly required for the purchase and use of the products and services available for purchase in said websites and/or to the extent legally required in accordance with the applicable law. This data will be included in a data file owned by Mundo Aquático, S.A. and stored for a period of no less than 5 years.
  • Non-personal browsing data (e.g. type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain of the website you came from, number and duration of visits to the site, which pages were viewed, geographical origin of the session) are automatically collected (i.e. without registration) by third parties (e.g. Google Analytics). This data is used for statistical analysis and is studied using the associated companies (e.g. Google Analytics) in order to monitor the level of interest in our website, improve its performance and adapt the contents. This same non-personal browsing data can be used to create target audiences for the display of content, whether sponsored or not, through Google Adwords, matching the right people with the right message that is of interest to the user, based on previous interests, location, language or demographics.
  • The Agent’s data collected within the scope of access to the Zoomarine Agent Portal is processed automatically and is provided on a mandatory basis, as it is essential for the provision of the Service by Mundo Aquático, S.A.
  • The data collected during the Zoomarine+Hotel package booking process falls under the full responsibility of the agency managing the contents provided, whose contacts are provided on the page, and Mundo Aquático S.A. is not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents thereof.

9.1.2 ) Upon subscription to the Zoomarine Newsletter
  • User emails are only collected when the users voluntarily provide and authorise such use on Zoomarine websites.
  • Subscription to the Zoomarine Newsletter implies agreement to periodically receive information, promotional and advertising materials deemed relevant by Mundo Aquático S.A. The data collected in the Newsletter subscription is stored in a CRM database management tool, "E-Goi". The database is owned by Mundo Aquático S.A. and access is restricted to the entity responsible for processing of the data and dispatch of the newsletter.
  • Non-personal data is collected from email tracking in order to monitor the performance of the action and adapt the contents.
  • The emails will be stored only during the time that the user keeps their subscription active.
  • The user may cancel or change the subscription to the newsletter at any time by clicking the "remove" or "change subscription" link available in all the newsletters sent.

9.1.3 ) Completion of the Contact Forms
  • Some Zoomarine websites contain contact forms to be completed in a voluntary and authorised manner. The data obtained through these forms will be used solely for the purposes duly described therein (dispatch of additional information, dispatch of the budget, telephone contact, recruitment, scheduling of visits, or other)
  • Mundo Aquático S.A. undertakes not to give or disclose the data to third parties or to use this data for commercial or promotional purposes, unless it has expressly consented to this or it arises from legal obligations.
  • The data is sent directly to the entity responsible for monitoring and/or further contact and is subject to the application of the current legislation.
  • The data provided on the forms for recruitment purposes will be stored for 2 years or for the period determined by the current law.
  • The data provided on the forms for the purpose of scheduling visits to educational institutions will be stored until the end of the current school year.


10. Right to change consent and negligence

  • Under the terms of applicable law, users are guaranteed, at no extra cost, the right to access, update and delete their personal data, upon written request by letter or email, as well as the right to object to its use for the purposes anticipated in the preceding paragraph, and should therefore contact the entity responsible for the processing of personal data at the email address digital@zoomarine.pt or at the postal address:

11. Liability
  • Mundo Aquático, S.A. assumes no liability for the use of uncertain, incomplete or outdated personal data provided by users.
  • As the Internet is an open network, the data that circulates on it may be viewed and used by third parties, thus Mundo Aquático, S.A. can only guarantee the security of data stored internally and that it owns.

  • We use cookies on the website. When browsing, the acceptance of this policy and the consequent use of cookies will be requested in accordance with the conditions described:
