Park Hours/Timetables

• Check the park’s opening / closing hours and calendar before your visit.

 

• To enjoy all we have to offer we recommend you spend at least one full day at the park.

 

• Certain equipments, attractions, shops and restaurants have different opening and closing times and may be closed at certain times of the year.

 

• The times of the presentations, attractions and other activities are made available on the Zoomarine APP (mobile app available for download on Android and iOS) and at the respective entrances to each stadium and attraction, and at the park entrance.

 

• Due to safety reasons, maintenance and weather conditions, some presentations, amusements and other attractions may be closed. We apologize for the inconvenience and remind you that these reasons will not be accepted as a claim for a discount or a refund of the admittance ticket.

 

• The Park Management reserves the right to define the services available and their respective schedules.

Presentations

• All schedules are subject to last minute changes.

 

• The stadiums will open 30min. prior to the beginning of the presentations, after reaching full capacity no more entries will be permitted.

 

• It is not permitted to smoke or park Strollers / Kiddy-Cars at the entrances or inside the stadiums.

 

• In some presentations you will get wet if you sit in the seats nearest the stage. Keep the most important objects safe.

Amusements/Attractions

• The amusements /attractions are subject to their own rules and access may be limited due to hight, age, physique and health condition.

 

• Visitors must observe at all times the safety recommendations applicable when entering each attraction and follow any indications given by the Park staff.

 

• For safety reasons access to certain equipment/ attraction may be denied.

 

• Whenever there are equipment regulation requirements, children should be accompanied by an adult.

 

• Indications given by park staff must be followed, reserving these the right to refuse entry to an attraction for safety reasons.

 

• Zoomarine does not accept responsibility for accidents occurred due to neglect to follow the safety rules.

 

• For hygiene reasons we highly recommend the use of t-shirt, on the amusement rides and during the 4D cinema session.

 

• The water attractions cannot be used by people wearing glasses or rings, bracelets, necklaces or any other object that may harm other users or the equipment surfaces.

 

• When using slides, lanes or ramps all the following are prohibited: a) launches while standing, or in a manner other than that expressly indicated in the rules attached to the equipment; b) stopping at any point on the tracks and forming chains with other users; c) the use of the runways from any intermediate point other than the launch pad; d) remaining in the reception tanks after falling into them.

 

• In some amusements and attractions you will get wet. Keep the most important objects safe.

 

• Amusements and aquatic attractions restrictions:

Farol: Children under 0.90mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.05mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Jurassic River: Children under 1.00mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.30mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Harakiri: Children under 1.05mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.20mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Búfalo: Children under 0.90mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.05mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.The use of T-shirts and footwear are recommended.
Atlântida: Pregnant women are not allowed. The use of T-shirts and footwear are recommended.
Zoomarine Express: Children under 0.90mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed. The use of T-shirts and footwear are recommended.
Aquasplash: Children under 0.90mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.20mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Giant Wheel: Children under 1.42mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed. The use of T-shirts and footwear are recommended.
Ferry: Children under 0.90mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.05mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Barca Pirata: Children under 1.30mt height are not allowed. Pregnant women are not allowed. The use of T-shirts and footwear are recommended.
Manta: Children under 1.05mt height are not allowed. Children under 1.20mt height only when accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Aquatube & Body Slide (waterslides): Children under 1.20mt height are not allowed. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Coconut river: Compulsory to wear a swimsuit. Mandatory use of float vest (PFD) on children under 1.10mt (3.9 ft). Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the same floater.
Treasure Island: Open slide: Children under 0.90mt height are not allowed. Closed slide: Children under 1.05mt height are not allowed
Fantasy Island: Octopus (closed slide): Children under 1.00mt height are not allowed. People over 1.40mt height are not allowed. Pregnant women are not allowed. Mini River e Pro Racer (open slide): Children under 1.00mt height only when accompanied by an adult. People over 1.40mt height only when accompanying a child. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Quetzal: Children under 1.10mt (3,6ft) height are not allowed. Children over 1.10mt and under 1,25mt (4,1ft) height only when accompanied by an adult. These children must be seated in the front. People who weight over 114kg (251lb) are not allowed. Pregnant women are not allowed.
Iguaçu: Children under 1.20mt (3,9ft) height are not allowed. Children over 1.20mt and under 1.40mt (4,6ft) height must be accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed.

 

 

• All attractions and rides are barred to people with heart conditions, precarious health or those who have recently undergone surgery.

Hygiene and Safety

• Canopies/tents, glass objects and pets (except assistance dogs, provided that the requirements set out in Decreto-Lei n.º 74/2007, of March 27th are met) are not permitted inside the park, and it is also not permitted to play football.

 

• It is not allowed to enter the Park with and/or use roller skates, bicycles or any other personal transport equipment, motorized or not, namely: scooter (with or without motor), skateboard (with or without motor), “hoverboard” and electric toy cars. With the exception of the use of a wheelchair, by people with reduced mobility.

 

 

• Do not run in the park, and do not walk barefoot outside Zoomarine Beach and swimming pools.

 

• Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted in the aquatic areas.

 

• The use of a full swimming costume is mandatory for all visitors (including children and babies).

 

• Floats and other inflatable devices not provided by the park are not permitted, except for swimming arm bands, swim vest and swim belts.

 

• Respect the restricted and exclusive access areas.

 

• In the restaurant areas picnics are not allowed.

 

• Zoomarine’s management may refuse admission or presence in the park if the safety regulations are not complied with.

 

• Due to safety reasons, maintenance and weather conditions, some presentations, amusements and other attractions may be closed. We apologize for the inconvenience and remind you that these reasons will not be accepted as a claim for a discount or a refund of the admittance ticket.

 

• All children under 12 years old should always be accompanied by an adult, and are of his entire responsibility. Any damages caused are responsibility of the parents or tutors/ guardians.

 

• Weapons and dangerous items will not be admitted within the theme park premises.

 

• Remote controlled toys and drones are not allowed within the park premises.

 

• Litter and unwanted objects must be disposed of in the appropriate containers/locations.

 

• Entry may be denied to people who, due to their status, may disturb public order or tranquility.

 

• Zoomarine does not tolerate any aggressive behaviour towards staff, other visitors and/or animals present in the theme park. Should any incident occur, measures will be taken so that the person be removed from the theme park premises and if necessary police will be contacted. Examples of non tolerated behaviour include:
◦ Intimidation (shouting or rudeness);
◦ Abusive behaviour, spoken, in gestures, physical obstruction, etc;
◦ Weapon possession;
◦ Personal insults;
◦ Any kind of undesired physical contact;
◦ Any kind of harassment.

Accessibility

• Zoomarine theme park is accessible to people with reduced mobility where they can attend to zoological presentations, attractions and other leisure and fun areas.

 

• Some attractions, amusements and experiences, given their nature and safety rules, may impose restrictions to their use. These conditions may apply to any visitor, with or without reduced mobility.

Parking

• Zoomarine has a wide free parking area.

 

• Parking is free, and the Portuguese Highway Code applies.

 

• Visitors must follow at any time the directions provided by the Zoomarine staff.

 

• We strongly advise visitors to not leave objects or valuable items in your vehicle and to make sure that all windows and doors are locked.

 

• Zoomarine cannot be held responsible for objects or valuable items left inside the vehicles.

 

• For security reasons, staying overnight or camping are not permitted.

Photography Service Information

• Some amusement equipment may have associated a PHOTOGRAPHY service, under which Mundo Aquático, S.A. (“Zoomarine”) will collect images of the visiting users, destined exclusively to be sold to the respective owners, after using the amusement equipment;

 

• The same will be marked, on the equipment itself, with the icon of a photo camera;

 

• All collected images will be destroyed within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days after collection;

 

• The use of the indicated equipment implies the acceptance of the associated photo service, and the consequent consent for image collection under the terms and for the purposes mentioned above;

 

• If you intend to use the equipment without the photo service, you must inform our photographic operator on site, before use; We inform that, as the data controller, Zoomarine will treat your images in the terms provided for in this information, and omitted cases, in its privacy policy (available at https://www.zoomarine.pt/pt/privacy/), and solely for the purpose mentioned above;

 

• You can exercise your right of access, rectification, deletion, portability of your personal and / or opposition data in writing, through the email address privacy@zoomarine.pt, under legally permissible terms;

 

• If you consider the processing of personal data carried out by Zoomarine, it violates the legislation on the protection of personal data in force in Portugal, you are entitled to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular with the CNPD.

Images captured at public events

• Sometimes, we may collect non-individualized images of our visitors, in the context of events with an audience, in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 79 of the Portuguese Civil Code and paragraph f), paragraph 1 of article 6. of the GDPR.

 

• On the same day, at the entrance to the Park, information about the collection of images (video and/or photography) will be available.

 

• The image will not be reproduced or used if it results in damage to the honour, reputation or simple decorum of any of the people portrayed.

 

• If you do not wish your image to be captured in this context, please inform the nearest staff member

Entrance Ticket - Theme Park

• The entry ticket to Zoomarine allows the use of all the activities, namely presentations, 4D Cinema, aquarium, and zoological, mechanical and aquatic attractions.

 

• The ticket does not include Dolphin Emotions experiences, restaurants & merchandising, access to rental areas and other complementary services available inside the park.

 

• Infants under 1,00 meter high have free entrance to the park.

 

• The following entry tickets are applied in the Theme Park:
Babies/Infants (<1,00 meter) – Children less than 1.00 meter of heigh.
Junior (>= 1,00 meter – 10 years) – Children with height of 1 meter and up to 10 years of age.
Normal (11 – 64 years) – Visitors between 11 and 64 years old.
Senior (>= 65 anos) – Visitors with 65 years or older.
Especial (Disability >= 33%) – Visitors with declared disability equal or higher than 33% (extended to a maximum of 1 accompanying for dependents with reduced mobility).

 

 

Warning:

 

• Children are measured at the entrance to the park and with footwear. If it is not accompanied by a valid ticket, the amount to be charged will be the full price stipulated at the physical ticket office of the theme park.

 

• It may be necessary to provide proof of age. If it is not presented, the management reserves the right to charge the full price stipulated at the physical ticket office of the theme park.

 

• The special entrance ticket is valid only at the park ticket office on the day of the visit and upon compulsory presentation of a valid document of declared disability.

Purchasing Zoomarine Tickets

• You can purchase your ticket online (until 3pm of the visit day), at the park’s ticket office or through our official Zoomarine agents.

 

• The following entry tickets can be purchased at Zoomarine’s online ticket office:
o Individual Entrance 1-Day;
o Individual Entrance 2-Days;
o Annual Pass;
o Zoomarine GIFT;
o Zoomarine Summer Camps
o Dolphin Emotions Experiences (see point #2);

 

• Group Visits, School Visits, Birthday Parties, must be booked directly with the theme park, at least 7 days in advance.

 

• The following tickets can only be purchased at the physical ticket office of the Theme Park: Special Entrance, Guided Tours, 2nd DAY Entrance, Thematic Events.

 

• The Zoomarine online ticket service allows you to make payments by Multibanco-ATM (Portugal only), Credit Card, Paypal, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

 

• The payment pages are responsibility of MEOWallet, Reduniq and Paypal. For added safety and privacy, no other entity has access to the data inserted, so any mistakes occurring during the payment process and validation are the entire responsibility of the user and the respective entities.

 

• Prices stated in the Zoomarine site are only allowed for electronic tickets acquired in the online office, except special ticket, group visit ticket, birthday Parties, schools and guided visits, 2nd Day visit and theme parties.

 

• The Zoomarine Electronic Ticket can be presented directly at the park entrance in digital format (smartphone) or printed format (paper).

 

• To benefit any discount campaigns, promotions, agreements or partnerships, etc, the visitor should present at the time of purchase the respective document (discount coupon, card, proof of age, etc). Non presentation of these, invalidates any discount/offer. The campaigns and promotions are not accumulative.

 

• Park Management reserves the right to change any prices, suspend or alter campaigns and/or promotions when considered appropriate without the need to pre-warm the users.

Entrance Ticket types

Individual Entrance – 1 Day

 

• The “1 Day – Individual Ticket” allows the visit to the Theme Park being the valid for the day indicated on the ticket.

 

• The visit ticket to the Zoomarine Theme Park allows you to enjoy all of its activities, namely, presentations, shows, 4D cinema, aquarium, and zoological, mechanical and aquatic attractions.

 

• The ticket does not include access to the Dolphin Emotions Experiences, catering services and merchandising and other complementary services available inside the park.

 

 

Individual Entrance – 2 Days

 

• (2nd Day Entrance) The “2nd day Entrance” valid until 10 days after the 1st visit. After leaving the park, it will no longer be possible to purchase a “2nd Day Ticket”.

 

• Access to the park on the second visit is done through biometric recognition (fingerprint reading) or by an identification bracelet. The “2nd Day Entrance” whether biometric recognition or identification bracelet, must be purchased during the 1st day of visit at the “Quiosque Extra Fun” office located inside the park.

 

• The collection and use of biometric data depends on consent from the respective subject.

 

• The biometric data is collected and encrypted in an unalterable format, guaranteeing the security and inviolability of the data.

 

• The biometric data is used exclusively for 2nd day entry control and will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, available at https://www.zoomarine.pt/en/policy-cookies/

 

• An identification bracelet may be used if consent for the collection of biometric data is not provided.

 

• If the bracelet is not presented or has in any way been tampered with access to the park will not be granted.

 

• The 2-day ticket is a single ticket, personal and non-transferable. Not using the ticket, the biometric data or the bracelet for a second visit does not give right to reimbursement of the ticket.

 

 

Zoomarine Gift

 

• This voucher entitles its user to one entrance into the Zoomarine Theme Park on any date within the validity period indicated.

 

• Gift Validity Period: 1 year from date of purchase.

 

 

Annual Pass

 

• The Annual Pass is available for purchase exclusively in the Online Ticket Office.

 

• Zoomarine Annual Pass-holder benefits includes:
o Free entry to the theme park for a year (subject to the park’s opening calendar);
o 20% discount on individual entries up to a maximum of 3 guests;
o 10% discount at the Bamboo Restaurant and Samy Shop merchandising items.

 

• The validity of the Annual Pass starts from the day after purchase.

 

• The Annual Pass is personal and non-transferable and must be presented with the holders valid ID.

 

• The Annual Pass can be renewed until the last day of the card’s validity date.

 

• The Annual Pass gives benefits at Zoomarine partners. These partnerships may vary from year to year, and it is the responsibility of the pass holder to inform themselves in advance of the partnerships in force.

 

• The annual pass does not include access to the Dolphin Emotions Experiences, catering services and merchandising and other complementary services available inside the park.

 

 

Group Visits (20pax /50pax)

 

• Availability on request up to 14 days before the date of visit.

 

• Confirmation of reservation and payment 7 days before the visit. No-shows are not refundable.

 

• Free entry for the planner and driver when paid in advance.

 

• Offer of 1 group photo (except from 26th June to 17th September).

 

 

School Visits

 

• Exclusive conditions only for Official Educational Institutions (accompanying non-students/non-teachers/education assistants are not allowed).

 

• Availability upon request and advance booking up to 14 days before the visit date, via email: reservas-escolas@zoomarine.pt.

 

• Booking confirmation and payment 7 days before the visit.

 

• Minimum 10 paying students.

 

• 1 teacher free + 1 teacher free for every 10 paying students.

 

• Free entry for the driver.

 

• 1 group photo offer (subject to availability).

 

• Lunch menus are optional.

 

• Free pedagogical activities (subject to availability)

 

• Absences are non-refundable.

 

 

Birthday Party

 

• The age limit for the birthday celebrations is 14 years old.

 

• Early booking required (14 days). Minimum of 10 paying children.

 

• The reservation must be confirmed and paid for 7 days prior.

 

• Free entrance and menu for the birthday child (required to present ID or Passport).

 

• Birthday menu included in the price.

 

• Children under a meter heigh only pay the meal.

 

• 1 free group photo (subject to availability).

 

• Absences are non-refundable.

Complementary Services - Online Tickets

• Visitors can purchase complementary services exclusively available in the online ticket office, together with the Zoomarine Entrance Ticket or Dolphin Emotions experiences. The isolated sale of these services is not available.

 

• Upon entering the theme park and upon presentation of the Electronic Ticket, you will receive a voucher for each complimentary service on the electronic ticket.

 

• The “Voucher” does not grant priority.

 

• The “Voucher” is non-refundable and does not allow exchange of items.

 

Meal-Menu:

 

• The visitor can enjoy the corresponding Meal-Menu in the adhering restaurants located inside the theme park (Captain’s Kitchen not included) and subject to the opening hours of each restaurant;

 

• the visitor can make their selection of Menu among the options that integrate each Meal-Menu;

 

• the Meal-Menu “Voucher” must be kept until the moment of collection of the menu, and it should be given to the restaurant staff;

 

• not-presenting or losing the “Voucher” invalidates the right to the Menu-Meal.

 

• The “Voucher” does not grant its holder priority service.

 

• The “Voucher” is non-refundable and does not allow exchange of items.

 

 

Foto-Souvenir:

 

• The Entrance Photo is done at the time of entry into the theme park, on the first day of the visit, with all the elements of the electronic ticket;

 

• The Entrance-Photo “Voucher” must be kept until the moment of collection of the photo and it should be given to the Photo-Souvenir staff;

 

• not-presenting or losing the “Voucher” invalidates the right to the Foto-Souvenir.

 

• The “Voucher” does not grant its holder priority service.

 

• The “Voucher” is non-refundable and does not allow exchange of items.

Zoomarine Summer Camps

• Zoomarine Summer Camps (ATL) have their own participation rules and must be consulted prior to the participants registration.

 

• The Summer Camps (ATL) are also subject to the theme park operating and safety rules.

Dolphin Emotions Encounter Participants

• Each Dolphin Emotions Encounter session integrates up to a maximum of 10 participants.

 

• The Dolphin Emotions experience starts with an educational talk, imparting various facts about the bottlenose dolphin, its biology and ecology.

 

• Then, participants spend about 20 minutes in the water, where, under the supervision of a trainer, they are invited to meet the dolphins, experience moments of tenderness and affection and perform an aquatic behaviour sequence exclusively in shallow waters with these extraordinary ambassadors of the ocean.

 

• During the whole experience, participants are accompanied by an educator who will be able to answer your questions. Including the educational session, the time spent getting changed and the session in the water, the total duration of the experience is approximately 60 minutes.

 

• Necessary to present identity card or passport as a proof of the participants age.

 

• In order to take part in the DEM Encounter Experience participants must:
◦ Be six years old or over;
◦ Children who are six and seven year old must be accompanied by other participant who is 16 years old or over;

 

• For safety reasons the following people cannot participate in any of the DEM experiences:
◦ Pregnant women;
◦ People with strong physical or mental disabilities (as this may limit the capacity to fully understand instructions and/or perform the aquatic activities);
◦ People with skin disorders;
◦ People under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
◦ People with hydrophobia;
◦ People with any other condition which may compromise the participant or the dolphins’ well-being.

 

• Main requirements to be respected:
◦ Be at the Dolphin Emotions reservation stand 45 minutes before the start of the session in order to register and become familiar with the rules of participation (delays are not refundable).
◦ Remove all personal objects such as: earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, hard contact lenses, glasses, photo and video cameras, hair accessories or any other object that can cause the dolphins harm either by ingestion or abrasion.
◦ Use of the aquatic equipment provided by Zoomarine is mandatory. Underneath, one should wear their bathing suits and use their own flip-flops/ sandals. Use of t-shirt is optional.
◦ Take a shower with the wetsuit on (remove all make-up).
◦ Fully respect all instructions given by Zoomarine staff.
◦ Treat all dolphins with respect, avoiding any attitude or behaviour which may cause stress or injury to the specimen.
◦ Keep a quiet and calm attitude at all time.

Dolphin Emotions Premium Participants

• Each Dolphin Emotions Premium session integrates up to a maximum of 12 participants.

 

• The Dolphin Emotions experience starts with an educational talk, imparting various facts about the bottlenose dolphin, its biology and ecology.

 

• Then, participants spend about 35 minutes in the water, where, under the supervision of a trainer, they are invited to meet the dolphins, experience moments of tenderness and affection and perform an aquatic behaviour sequence with these extraordinary ambassadors of the ocean.

 

• During the whole experience, participants are accompanied by an educator who will be able to answer your questions.

 

• Including the educational session, the time spent getting changed and the session in the water, the total duration of the experience is approximately 90 minutes.

 

• Necessary to present identity card or passport as a proof of the participants age.

 

• In order to take part in any of the DEM Premium or Exclusive Experiences participants must:
◦ Be eight years old or over.
◦ Know how to swim and be in good physical shape.

◦ Be at the Dolphin Emotions reservation stand 45 minutes before the start of the session in order to register and become familiar with the rules of participation (delays are not refundable).
◦ Remove all personal objects such as: earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, hard contact lenses, glasses, photo and video cameras, hair accessories or any other object that can cause the dolphins harm either by ingestion or abrasion.
◦ Use of the aquatic equipment provided by Zoomarine is mandatory. Underneath, one should wear their bathing suits and use their own flip-flops/ sandals. Use of t-shirt is optional.
◦ Take a shower with the wetsuit on (remove all make-up).
◦ Fully respect all instructions given by Zoomarine staff.
◦ Treat all dolphins with respect, avoiding any attitude or behaviour which may cause stress or injury to the specimen.
◦ Keep a quiet and calm attitude at all time.

Dolphin Emotions Premium Gift and Encounter Gift

• This voucher allows the holder to enjoy a “Dolphin Emotions Premium” experience or a “Dolphin Emotions Encounter” experience as per stated in the voucher;

 

• This voucher allows the holder to visit the Zoomarine theme park on the day of the experience;

 

• The experience can only be enjoyed on a date within the voucher validity period, where is required to make an advance booking;

 

• Gift Validity Period: 1 year from date of purchase;

 

• The booking can be made by phone No. +351 289 560 300 or e-mail dolphin.emotions@zoomarine.pt, always mentioning the voucher code;

 

• When you make your booking, you will be given a date and time of the session, which shall be entered in their respective fields of the voucher;

 

• The date and time for enjoying the experience is subject to availability at the time of the booking which is why it is recommended that the booking be made with minimum notice of 30 days.

Commercial Information

• Each Dolphin Emotions Premium, DEM Encounter or DEM Exclusive participant will need to purchase a ticket specifically for one of the experiences;

 

• Each accompanying-spectator will need to purchase a specific ticket to be able to accompany the participant;

 

• Entrance to Zoomarine theme park is included in the participants ticket for the day of the experience;

 

• Children under 1,00 meter of height may attend for free as spectators accompanying the participant;

 

• The spectators will watch from a location adjacent to the pool where the session takes place. Spectators will not have access to the dolphins;

 

• Zoomarine reserves the right to use the participant’s images of the Dolphin Emotions. The captured images will be used, exclusively, in a video/dvd/photos production that will be provided to those participants. Zoomarine reserves the right to use the participant’s images of the Dolphin Emotions. The captured images will be used, exclusively, in a video/photos production to be commercialized to those participants.

Purchasing Dolphin Emotions Experience Tickets

• You can purchase your Dolphin Emotions Premium, DEM Encounter or DEM Exclusive participation ticket online, at the park’s ticket office or through our official Zoomarine agents.

 

• The following tickets for the Dolphin Emotions Premium and DEM Exclusive Experiences can be purchased at Zoomarine’s online ticket office:

• The Zoomarine online ticket service allows you to make payments by Multibanco-ATM (Portugal only), Credit Card, Paypal, Google Pay or Apple Pay;

 

• The payment pages are responsibility of MEOWallet, Reduniq and Paypal. For bigger safety and privacy, no other entity has access to the data inserted, so any mistakes occurring during the payment process and validation are the entire responsibility of the user and the respective entities;

 

• Prices stated in Zoomarine site are only allowed for electronic tickets acquired in the online ticket office, excepting (special ticket, group visit ticket, birthdays, school and guided visits, 2nd Day visit and theme parties);

 

• The Zoomarine Electronic Ticket can be presented directly at the park entrance in digital format (smartphone) or printed format (paper);

 

• To benefit any discount campaigns, promotions, agreements or partnerships, etc, the visitor should present at the time of purchase the respective document (discount coupon, card, proof of age, etc). Non presentation of these, invalidates any discount/offer. The campaigns and promotions are not accumulative;

 

• Park Management reserves the right to change any prices, suspend or alter campaigns and/or promotions when considered appropriate without the need to pre-warm the users.

Cancellations and non-attendance policy

• All reservations must be cancelled with 2 days notice (until 5pm on the second day before the reservation);

 

• All participants should arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the session;

 

• In the event of non-attendance by a participant (arriving 45 minutes before the start) with the reservation not having been cancelled beforehand (with 2 days notice), the full amount will be charged and no refunds will be possible;

 

• Should Zoomarine be obliged to terminate the experience, due to climatic, technical or zoological reasons, we reserve the right to postpone the session or transfer it to another date;

 

• If the participant is unavailable at the new time, he or she will be reimbursed for the cost of the program

Privacy Policy

• We hereby inform you that Mundo Aquático, S.A. (“Zoomarine”), as the data controller, will process your personal data (“Personal Data”) as provided for in its privacy policy available at https://www.zoomarine.pt/en/privacy-cookies/, for ticket sales and for the management of entry, stays and experience in the park. These are the main purposes of such processing.

 

• We also inform you that the Personal Data will only be processed during the periods necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, and which are detailed in Zoomarine’s personal data retention policy, a copy of which can be found at https://www.zoomarine.pt/en/privacy-cookies/ or requested by e-mail to “privacy@zoomarine.pt“.

 

• You will be able to exercise your right of access, rectification, erasure, portability of your personal data and/or written opposition at the e-mail address ‘privacy@zoomarine.pt’, in accordance with the legally permitted terms.

 

• If you believe that the processing of personal data carried out by Zoomarine infringes the personal data protection legislation in force in Portugal, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular with the National Data Protection Commission;

 

• If Personal Data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (‘EEA’), we ensure that Personal Data is processed in accordance with European data security and protection standards. To this end, personal data processing agreements according to the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission will be signed, with reference to the technical and organisational measures adopted to protect the transferred data.

Capture of Images and CCTV

• Capture of images and filming is only allowed for personal use, for any other purpose will require previous agreement from the Management of the Park.

 

• Sporadically filming by third parties may occur within the Theme Park premises, Parking and surrounding areas. Whenever possible the places involved will be signed, but the visitors henceforth allow such images to be used for promotional uses.

 

• CCTV- For your protection, the park is under closed circuit television surveillance and sound and images will be recorded (Art.º 31.º da Lei n.º 34/2013, de 16 de maio ; Art.º 115.º da Portaria n.º 273/2013, de 20 de agosto).

Law and Venue

• Portuguese Law will apply to any matters not regulated by the present conditions.

 

• In the event of litigation as regards the interpretation or application of the present conditions, the venue of the district of Albufeira is competent, specifically waiving any other.

 

• Although it has been translated to english and spanish, the portuguese document prevails over the translated version.
