Together We Protect, Zoomarine's philosophy
Zoomarine is a theme park that promotes behavioural change in relation to the animal world and environmental preservation, with a special focus on marine species. By providing moments of family fun, the park combines leisure and learning, raising visitors' awareness towards the protection of species and their natural habitats.
Through concrete actions developed for environmental education and conservation, and with the support of a multidisciplinary team with extensive scientific and practical experience, Zoomarine reinforces its mission as a true guardian of biodiversity.
The Together We Protect actions also aim to contribute to a positive impact on the Algarve community and, in this context, more regional projects have been created, such as the ‘education on wheels’ project EDUCar, community initiatives with volunteers such as tree-planting or beach- cleaning, donations for animal shelters, among others.
